Neuspeed Power Module - 64.10.15

Fits 2014-up Audi A3/S3(8V) 1.8 TSI/2.0 TSI, 2015-up VW MK7 GTI, GTI PP, Golf R, Golf 1.8 TSI and Alltrack, Sportwagen / 2018-19 2.0 TSI Atlas & Tiguan

Parts List:

  • 1 - Power Module
  • 1 - Adhesive Backed Velcro
  • 2 - Cable Tie

Tools Required:

  • 1 – T25 Torx
  • 1 – T40 Torx (Audi)

Note: Recommend to use Scan Tool to check ECU for no fault code(s).

1. Recommended to install on cool engine. Wait 20 minutes after shutting engine off before installing Neuspeed Power Module to allow ECU (Engine Control Unit) to power down.

Lift up engine cover to remove.

2. Lift up engine cover to remove.

Squeeze collar to unlock and disconnect air pump hose from air filter box lid.

3. Sensor Location: MAP sensor is on top of the intake manifold (shown). Boost sensor is on the plastic Air Charge Pipe located just below the A/C compressor.

Clean surface on side of ECU just in front of battery or down on battery tray and stick-on Neuspeed Power Module with supplied Velcro. Route wire harness toward engine underneath air intake hose between air filter box and turbo.

4. Clean surface on side of ECU just in front of battery or down on battery tray and stick-on Neuspeed Power Module with supplied Velcro. Route wire harness toward engine underneath air intake hose between air filter box and turbo.

Squeeze locking tab on end of MAP connector then disconnect electrical connection.

5. Squeeze locking tab on end of MAP connector then disconnect electrical connection. Tip: Push in on connector while squeezing tab, then pull. Repeat for Boost sensor.

Connect NEUSPEED Power Module harness in-line as shown.

6. Connect NEUSPEED Power Module harness in-line as shown.

Boost sensor is a little harder to access. Either reach down in front of alternator to just below A/C compressor to get to boost sensor in Air Charge Pipe or see step 8.

7. A3/GTI/Golf: Boost sensor is a little harder to access. Either reach down in front of alternator to just below A/C compressor to get to boost sensor in Air Charge Pipe or see step 8.

Using T25 Torx remove the (8) screws securing the lower engine splash pan.

8. S3/Golf R: From underneath vehicle remove lower engine splash pan (T25/T40 Torx Screws) to access boost sensor in Air Charge Pipe just below A/C compressor.

Disconnect lower intercooler hose at discharge pipe.

9. Connect Neuspeed Power Module harness in-line as shown.

10. Re-install engine cover and if removed lower engine splash pan.

Disconnect any wire harness or hose clips attached to lower discharge pipe.

11. Neuspeed Power Module has (2) position power switches accessible from the back side. Remove plastic cap to access. DOWN position for Premium fuel 91+ octane (5PSI increase) and UP position for (7PSI increase)recommend higher octane fuel. Note: Both switches must be in the same down or up position.

Deactivating ABS intervention for Launch Control or During Excessive Front Tire Spin in the Lower Gears.

Select: 03-ABS Brakes, Adaption-10, then drop down menu under Channel:
"IDEO5337-Starting vibration reduction", select "Deactivated" for new value and then hit "Do it!"

"IDE05337-MAS02653-Starting vibration reduction-Torque limitation", Deactivate if not already "Deactivated."

2014-UP Audi A3/S3 (8V) Quattro
2015-UP VW Golf R, 2017-UP Alltrack/Golf SportWagen & 2018 Tiguan 4-Motion

"IDE05337-MAS02653-Starting vibration reduction-Torque limitation", Deactivate if not already "Deactivated".

Increase Power to the Rear Wheels for Launch Control.

Select: 22-AWD, Adaption-10, then drop down menu under Channel: "MAS06098-Acoustic measure: wiring logic", select "Increased traction" for new value and then hit "Do it!"
